Old Self, New Photo

It's not really a very new photo but this is what I wore before the Haute Couture Party. If you can just see the transformation from the previous posts. I love wearing wedges now. They can last me the whole day without hurting my feet compared to cigarette heels. It could be because it's elevated and makes you feel like you're floating above the clouds. Well, that's just my opinion about wedges. I'm loving anything stripes and I think it will never go out of style. Speaking of love, this love necklace is a great find. It only cost 100 pesos. Is this going to be a good luck charm for me in matters of the heart? I wish. I also feel like I don't make sense now. The year is about to end and it's that kind of time where people make resolutions and what-not.
I will never tell myself on what I should not do cause I end up doing it anyway.

Two is Better Than One

I realized we were in pairs when we had Dinner at Maya. Jed plus me, Jack and Liz, Ceddie and Ate Rich. :)

Merry Christmas!

Spent Christmas day with my bitches and had dinner in Maya. They have the best mojitos in town. Better than TGIF and Canvas. You’re not paying them for the food since the place is really upscale, a sister resto of abaca. You’re paying for the experience. Which is why the customer service is superb. I have nothing bad to say against the place. I’m a happy customer. :)

Little Black Dress

In most cases, the after party is always better than the party itself. I bought this LBD way back January when I traveled in Manila and had the chance to visit and shop in ZARA since we don’t have one here in Cebu. I was only able to wear it this month of December. Good thing that it still fits me but it’s so extreme, right? I bought something at the beginning of the year and wore it before the year ends. It’s like I sandwiched the LBD and saved the best for last as how others would put it.
I decided to pair the LBD which I think is a staple item in every girls closet with a faux fur cape from What a Girl Wants. This is a classic case of fashion over comfort. The Philippines is a tropical country and we don’t experience snow here. You’ll sweat out the moment you step out of the house with a fur coat or what-not. I’ve done so many things all for the love of fashion. I think it’s the season and it’s apt to wear one since it’s the Holidays. It’s not bad to wish or dream for a white Christmas. Even in thoughts and in style. :)

She Got Wings

I’ve been busy juggling work and personal life that I barely check nor post anything sensible. It's so good to be back!

I’ve been singing Angel by Akon all over my head and it’s on repeat for like 1000000x! I got so inspired with the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show that I decided to be one on our annual Christmas party at work. Prior to the event I really wanted to wear a corset or anything with lace. The theme was Haute Couture but what better way to celebrate the party than to wear or dress as a Victoria Secret Angel. Party was held as usual in the Waterfront Hotel and it’s good to be reunited with friends and get all dolled up like really dolled up with MAC make up and all. I have to thank the Fine Arts Student who allowed me to use one of his hand-crafted wings and to my sister for the effort and for putting up with me the entire time!

Happy Holidays! :)
