Coffee Dreaming

No more Starbucks near our office and I'm not so sure if it's a good thing or not. For the first time, I stopped collecting their yearly planner cause it's difficult to collect stickers and drink them minimum wage coffee. It was getting too expensive for me after nearly four years of drinking the mermaid's cup. There's always late realizations for some people, I know. If you've also noticed there's always a coffee shop near any office or anything that drives these corporate bitches some money. Well, it's also given cause people like me need more caffeine than the average person. There's no more Starbucks but we got Coffee Dream. The good thing with them aside from being purely Cebuano owned is they also serve REAL food. Cholesterol wins over pastries sometimes.

I don't even know how some people can afford to go to starbucks everyday, it's so expensive kaya! It is the death of us minimum wage earners and shopaholics. Hehehe

There's a Starbucks store right across our office but I hardly ever visit it. Not always a wise spender, but I've learned that you dont need to spend much for a cup of coffee when you can have cheaper options. :)

i'd just prolly repeat what everyone just said but what the heck, STARBUCKS is way, way expensive for a cup of coffee. I am not a fan.

But, you're right, the Filipino in me will always prefer cafe's with real food. Not just pastries and the like. :))

Starbucks Coffee is still the best coffee there is, though.. If you want to eat real food or Filipino food, that is, why go to a coffee shop?
