Back to Black

It really takes a lot of confidence and kapal ng mukha to maintain or even keep a fashion blog. I'm sort of getting used to the stares when I summon some of my closest friends to take my outfit photo. It really gets a little awkward when you're out on the streets and there are passers by. But heck, they don't know me. I have no intention of knowing them either. And I don't care. If somebody loves me enough to buy me a tripod and remote control for my camera, then please do. Donations are most welcome but minions are still preferred. I wouldn't mind having my own personal photographer. Haha! Just trippin' That's what friends are for, right? I am beyond amazed with their patience. Thankful for them. Always.

Friends. Facebook. Twitter. Tumblr. And all other Social Networking Sites. My entire news feed's full of beach photos and other forms of activities over the Holy Week. OH well. Mine was spent at work and I've never felt so Holy, ever. The good thing is I still have work and it's double pay. But the city is really lovely minus the crowd and traffic. And I shouldn't even fret. I can always have a random bus ride anywhere on my free time. I should start looking at the bright side of things except for the colors of my outfit on this post. Seriously, what was I thinking? I'm wearing my leather midi skirt on a hot day. The city gets too hot it makes you want to migrate to Siberia and just come back during the rainy season. That's totally going to be a different story. Don't ask why. I just felt like wearing the skirt which has been lying on my closet for a year. I'm rediscovering items that I thought I never had.

"But heck, they don't know me. I have no intention of knowing them either. And I don't care" - Exactly my point too!

Completely agree with you and Rizza above. I get stared at too. You're so lucky to have ur friends. I barely see mine, they're too busy with their own lives, and i bet even if they weren't, they're not up up for working the camera (they'd rather be in the photos, haha). only my boy's patient enough. one of the reasons i keep coming back to your blog is cos i can totally relate. always happy to know i'm not alone in the weirdness of all the blog stuff, if that even made sense. oh well, i'm starting a novela na here so i'll stop. =)

xo, Carla
ps. love the skirt.

Your outfit is soooo stinin' cute! You've got all the right stuff just to make this skirt pop and look fantastic. I'm absolutely in love, girl! Great job :) And I totally hear you, I'm still getting use to taking photos in front of other people. Sometimes its hard. I think I would have a lot harder time if I had a tripod and stuff, I'd be so embarrassed ;)

I feel ya :)) I probably look so dumb having to pose in public but whatever. If I get a good photo, then it's worth it. Hope you get a good long break from work soon!

I also want my personal photographer! :D
But sure, the people don't know you!
I like your skirt! Nice.

Haha I know exactly what you mean by the friends that take your pictures + awkward looks you get when they're photographing you. In Amsterdam people always have to tell you their opinion somehow, which is so unnecessary! Love the skirt btw. And be glad it's sunny and hot: better outfits + more beautiful shots. The rain makes me take pictures inside..
