Bohol Photo Diary

Island Life. I'm too busy offline I can't add anymore text. Might update this post, perhaps?

Dinner in Hennan's. Breakfast in Bee Farm. Road trippin' with Bal. Lunch at Saffron's in Amorita Resort. Bal learning how to dive in guess where - Dive Thru. And the most sumptuous dinner in Guiseppe's.

I think we spent more time eating than exploring the island. Two nights and three days in Bohol together with Bal's elder sister, Ariadne and her husband Arbind. I miss her already.

Bloggers United Strikes Three!

Third time’s the charm for the most anticipated fashion bloggers event in the country!

Bloggers United is staging their third bloggers bazaar this June 2 at the Grandview Events Place to once again gather Manila’s top fashion bloggers in one single venue outside of the World Wide Web. After holding two successful events last year, Bloggers United has easily become one of the most anticipated affairs for both fashion bloggers and readers in the metro. More than just a bazaar, Bloggers United also partners with charitable groups to use and channel their influence in a positive manner.

Through the overwhelming power of social media and blogs in today's generation, the previous Bloggers United events have successfully joined forces with top fashion bloggers like Laureen Uy, Camille Co, Kryz Uy and many more to inspire their followers and to raise funds for various beneficiaries, namely KIDS Foundation and GMA Kapuso Foundation. This time around, the event will benefit Operation Smile Philippines.

The event gets better and better every time! To make Bloggers United 3 even more momentous, top Indonesian fashion blogger Anastacia Siantar of The Brown Platform will also be selling alongside Cebu fashion bloggers and our very own top celebrities Divine Lee & Sarah Meier.

Little Miss Vertigo

There's four types of weather: too hot, just right, normal and too cold. Luckily the weather today was just normal. It's normal to be too hot but I slept half of my day away. When I woke up, I decided to take a break from wearing all black and put one some colour for a change. It gets too humid sometimes and sweat is not sexy. Not when you're all dressed up. But I would never turn my back on black. Just so we're clear on this.

While browsing through the photos and choosing which ones to share. I couldn't help notice that I look a bit odd or even silly. Point is, I don't always look this great but I shared them anyway. I don't exactly know the color of my top but I know its pastel. There's this thing about colors. If it's not red its maroon or burgundy. Gets me confused. Pastel is on trend lately and I'm never the one to try it out immediately. Never thought we have one in our closet. Thanks to my big sister who does all the shopping for trends.

Black Out

Today doesn't feel like Friday at all. And I don't feel like sharing anything about life lately. Normal problems are the best kind to have. Happy cries are the best. Let's just talk about the weather for the lack of right words to say. Omit right. There's no right words. Just words. It's raining all night and extremely sunny all day. It makes me feel bad when I'm at work and it's gloomy or the weather is perfect for staying in bed - cuddling or not. It's not bad to wear all black on a very sunny day. Sweat bullets all I want, why not. I feel pretty, oh so pretty in black.

Practising my surprised face cause Bal seems to be getting used to taking my outfit photos. As if! Say it like Alicia Silverstone in Clueless. As if he has a choice. There are two sides to every story. But my side is always the right one. I look pretty normal which is quite abnormal for me. Just trippin but not trippin when I say dressing up makes me feel a little better. It does make some sort of difference. Wearing my killer shoes to transfer whatever is troubling deep inside me to my feet. Gotta have some balance in life. I need me some weighing scale.

Summer After High School

Spent the first day of May with my college friends. I have not seen some of them for five years! It's been so long! Time. Really. Flies. Honestly felt so happy and relieved meeting them. It's so good to know I'm not the only one unmarried and got knocked up. It's also amazing cause we weren't really that chummy and extra close five years ago but it's totally the exact opposite now. Oh, it brings back a lot of memories. Good and you-know-what. Nostalgia is starting to kick in. Suddenly, I miss going to school but not my uniform. Haha!

As for the outfit, I'm wearing my favorite vintage levi's shorts, my eternally favorite yellow satchel, peek-a-boo(b) top, and studded oxfords. Black and yellow always look good together. Those rings on my finger were bought months ago and they're just lying in the drawer. I finally decided to wear them. I've wanted to share photos of my date with my college friends but my camera died. Perfect. Well. It's not really a big deal. I feel so light and happy lately. Must be the mood swings.

If Happy Ever After Did Exist

The last few weeks have been a bit busy and dizzy. Vertigo is getting worse and my world is spinning in a more literal sense. The summer heat is not even helping at all. Oh dear God, the heat. Life lately is full of CHANGES. I wanted to resist but decided not to. I will probably share more when I am drunk and feeling like over-sharing. But I've already convinced myself it's for the best. I will not complain about my job. Not today. Working class blues for Monday. I still have a lot to be thankful for.

Today, Bal gladly took my outfit photo(s) and I REALLY know how he slightly dislikes the whole concept. He says I am hard to pleased and of course, I am. But he loves me enough to grant my request(s). Like a Boss. I like it when he takes my photos. He knows my angles too well. But I get a bit timid when he takes it seriously. Turning tables. That's not the end of it cause he made me his personal shopper and stylist. Yeah, we're mutually exploiting each other. That's over-sharing, all right. Things I'll never say.

Monday means errands and I am casually dressed in a scalloped top, ballet flats and mustard shorts .Easy does it. As for the last two photos, thank you, camera self timer, like really. We look a bit silly, I think. I am really OBSESSING over Maroon 5's Payphone. The song is stuck on my head for hours. One more fucking love song, I'll be sick.
